Will the Federal SORNA regulations if implemented, which NARSOL seems they will, is there still state discretion re: adoption of all or part of the regulations?

Second, in this political environment, with QaNon, gerrymandering for one party to win elections, and ESPECIALLY the conservative right Supreme Court, I think it is unlikely there will be elimination of the registry – which means I will likely die on the registry – which is the only way I will get off of it. The Scarlet Letter is not going to go away. However I applaud ASCOL for at least giving it a shot to encourage all of us to contact DOJ.
