It reminds me to be grateful that I am on community supervision in a state such as Minnesota, while simultaneously re-empathizing that not only exemplary behavior is required at all times, but—unfortunately—eternal vigilance and a modicum of over-shoulder looking as well. After all, “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.” The lines between “good guys” and “bad guys” tend to blur….
