There is a theory in law. If you put up a sign like don’t run–slippery. You acknowledged that there is a danger.
When the state puts on the registry not to harrass offenders. They acknowledge they have created a danger.
Sometimes other people in the home are harmed also.
Anyone who is harmed or killed (they or their surviving family.) should sue the state. Until they start losing money nothing will change.

Imagine being a politician trying to run for next election and you are trying to remove the home addresses for SO’s for their safety. Imagine the ammunition you just handed over to your opponents. You’d never get elected. They’d call you out on every TV ad and radio ad there is. They’d have everyone believing you’re siding with the ruthless monsters who try to rape and kill your children. And you’d be the most hated politician ever. We are on our own.

This is how they get elected looking tough on hot button issues. If they change the laws there smoked on the next election, or even recall elections. The media will pile on and the picture will be painted in such a way that public outrage will have people raising cane. They also have groups of lawyers in the back ground ready to jump up lob more appeals and new laws to make life more complicated. It’s a vigilantee justice system. How many judges have ruled the registry unconstitutional. Many!! None of the statistics are up too date. Never mind the address issues nobody wants you living next door and realtors are also making sure you can’t get a home. So your are cornered a forced to fail on top of people trying to pick you off. What legal system it’s a slavery system, Or a cast system as you say.

Another person murdered because of the intentional State sanctioned identification of the person and the home address where he could be located. The people painted a target on his back for decades after the completion of his original sentence.
And we know there will be zero accountability for the purveyors of the California SOR database.
Meanwhile, public officials are having their home addresses stripped from the internet and database driven infrastructure, primarily because of the Fed Judge Salas case in New Jersey.
Plain evidence of a caste ridden system underpinned by control of our database driven system.

Social justice in action! The only reason it continues is because the government is in on it. They can’t kill you in jail they advertise you as bait on the Internet. Anyone that speaks up is a sympathizer as well. I have been at this since I was 19 years old and I am 43 now. Zero violations and I imagine my fate will be the same as this gentleman when I am to old to fight back or just in the perfect position for someone to target me.

Thank you, Sandy, for naming what most media won’t: this was a targeted murder, enabled by state policy.

The registry targeted me too. Locals copied my photo from the Megan’s Law site and posted it at the golf course, bar, and pool. My wife was confronted. We received false police reports. Officers told us to “be patient”—that this was common.

David Brimmer wasn’t killed randomly. He was hunted. His address was published by the state. His age made him a target. His decades-old conviction became a death sentence.

This isn’t isolated. It’s a pattern: Maine, Washington, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, California—five times. The registry isn’t public safety. It’s a roadmap for vigilantes.

We mourn David Brimmer. We demand reform. Remove addresses. Stop the targeting. Stop pretending this is protection. It’s public execution by proxy.

Silence is not neutrality. It’s permission.
