NARSOL relies on the advice of its attorney to bring cases that are sustainable. The money was never the main objective.

My understanding of civil law (admittedly very limited and could be wrong) is that the venue for civil cases is usually the respondent's county of residence or employment, depending on the claim. It makes me wonder why this case was filed in North Carolina instead of Pierce County, Georgia.

I wouldn't count on Davis paying. If he didn't respond to the summons, I can't imagine he'd give credence to the ruling. Nor can I think of any authority the Wake County court would have over resident out of state regarding its ruling.

Strangely, I saw many news articles of many men, who is accused or convicted of child sexual abuse crimes, is actually linked to far-right movements or ideologies. It is crazy that same men who falsely accused marginalized people for same crimes they committed!

When you think about it, lawmakers are a form scam artists. They promise this and that on the campaign trail, but never delivery once in office. Instead of begging for money, they beg for your vote. Same principle bascially.

It is untrue that Bedford, Texas, bans all registered sex offenders from living within city limits. Instead, like many Texas cities, Bedford enforces child safety zone ordinances that restrict sex offenders from living within a specific distance (typically 1,000–2,000 feet) of schools, daycares, playgrounds, and youth centers. We are sorry that your family member is having such difficulty.

Now he had to leave his home of 26years, Bedford Texas does not allow sex offeners in their city. leave his family, live in a seedy hotel can't find a place even in a unincorporated areas because no one will let him move there. His wife must now sell their home and try to rent a place so they can be together. It's impossible to find so where is he supposed to go. Meanwhile his son, wife and stepchild go on living. This man helped his son move from another state to Texas so he could get a better start and that family does this. Just don't know what to do?

I have it understood that States are divested of any and all powers with regards to interstate commerce. When one transmission begins in the home, on a cellphone etc. and travels the airwaves ending at a server somewhere in southern California, that transmission is interstate commerce. That's federal jurisdiction not state. States passing Internet identifier laws as part of their sor policy aren't operating within their jurisdiction. That's only my opinion.
